The early years are fleeting — so it doesn’t make sense to choose toys that end up in the ground for thousands of years. Our materials used to be something else, and will become something else later.

The Problem.
Over 8,000,000 tonnes of plastic are dumped into the ocean every year. In the last 10 years, more plastic has been produced than in the previous 100 years— and this is what 90% of toys are produced from. Plastic toys cannot easily be recycled, and they certainly cannot be useful for the thousands of years they’ll exist.
